Kampong Cham Province: located in the central lowlands of the Mekong River of the southeast Cambodia and its border is around by some provinces such as:  Kampong Thom Province & Kratie to the north, Kampong Chhnang Province to the west, Prey Veng Province & Kandal Province to the south, and speeding to the Vietnam to the east. The capital of this province is the largest city and is the 11^th largest province in Cambodia. 

Kampong Cham Province: The original of kampong is port, harbor, or bay, and Cham refer to the Cham People living in this.

This province has subdivided 16 districts, 173 communes, and 1758 villages.
